The property benefits from sitting in this quiet rural location and offers some of the finest views from your doorstep of the sedate rolling hills yet is a short drive from the centres of Bath and Bristol. The historic city of Bath with its stunning architecture and wealth of activities come rain or shine is a must when visiting the area offering the vibrancy of a city yet the intimacy and character that you would expect. Or sit back and relax within the animal friendly grounds whilst taking in the breathtaking views. Farm activities: guests are welcomed with the owners supervision to meet and interact with a variety of animals ranging from the pygmy goats chickens pigs alpacas lamas wallabies and donkeys. Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
